Hyderabad Sailing Week to begin from August 13

Arjuna awardee and Asian Games Winner, Honorary Lieutenant Rajesh Choudhary, VSM (Retd), will conduct a national coaching camp

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Sailing is scheduled to be held from August 13 to 20 on Hussainsagar Lake. Being part of the Laser Sailing Championship could not be held last year because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

However, this year Yachting Association of India decided to conduct the championship and most of the national and international sailors have agreed to participate in the event. Arjuna awardee and Asian Games Winner, Honorary Lieutenant Rajesh Choudhary, VSM (Retd), will conduct a national coaching camp. A seminar will be held from August 1 to 21 as a prelude to this prestigious event.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant General TSA Narayanan, AVSM, Commandant, Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), Secunderabad met Governor Tamilsai Soundararajan to invite her as the chief guest for the opening ceremony.
