Hyderabad: A security guard who possessed a fake license for a weapon was arrested by the Hyderabad police on Saturday.
Rajaram Singh (38) of Arwal in Bihar had procured a Double Barrel Breach Loading (DBBL) gun illegally along with 15 cartridges after showing the license he obtained in Uttar Pradesh with the help of some persons.
After working in Bihar as a security guard for a while, Singh came to Hyderabad recently to get employed with some security agency.
However, while he was moving around Secunderabad with the weapon suspiciously, the Monda Market police checked the weapon license and found it to be fake.
The police seized the weapon and arrested Rajaram Singh. He was produced before court and remanded.
