Hyderabad: Seven nabbed in Kondapur rave party, drugs seized
Gachibowli police and Telangana’s anti-narcotics wing EAGLE raided a rave party at Kondapur, arresting seven persons and seizing cocaine, MDMA, and ecstasy pills. The accused included peddlers, a supplier, a transporter, and consumers. A case has been booked under the NDPS Act

Hyderabad: The Gachibowli police, along with Telangana’s anti-narcotics wing EAGLE, raided a rave party at Kondapur and arrested seven persons. The police seized 20 grams of cocaine, eight ecstasy pills, and three grams of MDMA.
Those arrested were identified as Teja (28, peddler), Vikram (28, peddler), Manne Neelima (41, consumer), Chandhan (20, transporter), Pushotham Reddy (36, consumer), Bhargav (31, consumer), and Rahul alias Sonu (supplier).
Acting on a tip-off, police raided Rajeswari Nilayam Service Apartments in Kondapur, where the group was found consuming drugs.
“Teja was procuring drugs from Rahul and, along with his friends, consumed them at the service apartment. The drugs were sourced through courier services or via a transporter. On Sunday night, during a party, the police raided the apartment and seized the drugs,” said Dr G Vineeth, DCP Madhapur.
A case has been registered under the NDPS Act.
