Hyderabad student stranded in Tehran, parents seek Centre’s help
The parents of a Hyderabad woman student stranded in Tehran have sought help from the Indian government for her safe return. Her father has approached the Ministry of External Affairs and AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi, expressing concern over her safety.

Hyderabad: The parents of a woman student from the city who is stranded in Tehran, the capital of Iran, have sought help from the Indian government to ensure her safe return.
Ayman Fatima, a resident of Noorkhan Bazar in the old city, is pursuing a course at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and stays at Dr Younus Bhat (Dorm) on Zafar Street in Tehran.
The woman’s father, Mohammed Abul Hasan, who is worried about her safety, took to the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) and requested the Ministry of External Affairs to immediately intervene and ensure her safe return to the city. The woman has not been in contact with her family for the past few days.
The woman’s father is currently staying in the United Arab Emirates. Abul Hasan has also requested AIMIM party president Asaduddin Owaisi to intervene and take up the issue with the Minister for External Affairs.
