Hyderabad: Three-year-old crushed to death at MGBS
According to the police, Aahan and his parents who returned from Nizamabad had alighted from the bus belonging to Nizamabad depot at Platform No.74 at the station.
Hyderabad: A three-year-old boy was crushed to death after he came under the tyre of a TSRTC bus at the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station here on Sunday evening.
The boy was identified as Mohd Aahan, a resident of Road No.9 in Kishan Bagh, Rajendranagar.
According to the police, Aahan and his parents who returned from Nizamabad had alighted from the bus belonging to Nizamabad depot at Platform No.74 at the station.
“While his parents were busy collecting their luggage from the bus, the child who was playing, inadvertently came in front of the vehicle. As all the passengers got down, the driver who missed to notice Aahan moved the bus and the boy was crushed to death,” said an official. The driver could not see the boy, as the latter was very close to the front portion of the bus cutting the driver’s view, said an official.
On receiving information, the Afzalgunj police visited the spot and have taken up investigation. The bus driver K.Ajith Singh was taken into custody.
The body was shifted to the Osmania General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
