Hyderabad: Two arrested with 11.365 kg ganja in Quthbullapur
Jeedimetla police arrested two persons at Quthbullapur and seized 11.365 kg of ganja on Saturday. The contraband was allegedly brought from Visakhapatnam district for sale in Hyderabad. Police also seized mobile phones and bags and are searching for another suspect.

HYDERABAD: The Jeedimetla police arrested two persons at Quthbullapur who were planning to sell ganja and seized 11.365 kg of the contraband from them on Saturday.
Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid and apprehended Maredubudi Raju (33) and Sirapu Hema (41) at HMT colony. During a search, police recovered the contraband packed in five bundles, besides two mobile phones and bags allegedly used for transporting the ganja.
According to the police, Raju had allegedly procured the ganja from Bumpara Ramana near Madugula in Visakhapatnam district and brought it to Hyderabad to hand it over to Hema for sale.
Police said efforts were underway to apprehend the absconding suspect, Ramana.
