A short circuit sparked a fire in a congested building at Bengaluru’s Tigalarapete, killing five, including a couple and their two children. Police arrested two owners for negligence and illegal construction, as families accused them of renting unsafe spaces.
The arrested T Shankar and C Anil, both drivers along with Praveen Varma, who is absconding, had purchased the ganja from Aruku valley in Andhra Pradesh and smuggled to the city. On information the STF team caught them at Bowenpally

On a complaint, the police registered a case and took them into custody. On interrogation, the duo admitted to robbing the victim. The police arrested them and produced them before the court
