Hyderabad: Two children drown while swimming in Medchal tank
Two children drowned while swimming in a village tank near Dabilpur in Medchal on Sunday. The victims, aged 14 and 12, were part of a group of six children. Police and SDRF teams were deployed for recovery operations.

According to reports, a group of six children had gone to a tank located near the Dabilpur village in Medchal on Sunday afternoon. All six were playing in the water when two of them, Oman (14), a ninth standard student, and Mohd Irfan (12), a seventh standard student, drowned.
On information, the police reached the spot and started efforts to retrieve the bodies. Expert swimmers of State Disaster Response Force reached the spot to assist the police.
