Hyderabad: Two held for selling Mephentermine Sulphate injections in separate incidents

Officials seized 110 vials of the injection, altogether worth Rs 1.3 lakh

Hyderabad: The Task Force (South) team along with the local police in Moghalpura and Chandrayangutta has arrested two persons in separate incidents for illegal possession and selling Mephentermine Sulphate injections for easy money on Wednesday.

Officials seized 110 vials of the injection, altogether worth Rs 1.3 lakh.

In the first instance in Moghalpura, Mohd Jibran alias Sameer Goli, who is a fitness freak in order to increase his body muscles in a short span, procured the injections online and used it. He purchased it online without any valid prescription and also sold it to others.

In another instance at Chandrayangutta, Ahmed Qureshi, who is a regular at gym regularly injected Mephentermine Sulphate injections for muscle growth by buying it online from suppliers based in Delhi.

Based on a tip-off, the police caught the duo and seized the injections from them.

The arrested persons and the seized material were handed over to the Moghalpura and Chandrayangutta police for further action.
