Hyderabad: The body of an unidentified man was found floating in the Nalla Cheruvu at Uppal on Thursday.
Police said it was yet to be known if he was washed away in the rains or a suicide or an accident.
The locals noticed the body floating in the lake and alerted the police. The Medipally police, with the help of expert swimmers, retrieved the body from the lake. Officials said case was booked and efforts were on to identify the man.
Recent missing cases registered in local police stations were being verified.
