Hyderabad: Woman dies in suicide pact, husband battling for life

The couple identified as Ramesh Kumar and Rajeshwari had attempted suicide by consuming the bathroom cleaner in their house

Hyderabad: A couple attempted suicide by consuming a bathroom cleaner at their house in Hyderguda in Rajendranagar on the city suburb on Saturday. While the woman died, her husband is battling for life in the hospital.

As per available information, the couple identified as Ramesh Kumar and Rajeshwari had attempted suicide by consuming the bathroom cleaner in their house. They fell ill and were rushed to a nearby private hospital by their family.

While Rajeshwari died while undergoing treatment, Ramesh, is still under treatment and his condition is said to be critical.

The Rajendranagar police are investigating. They suspect the couple had attempted suicide due to financial difficulties and health problems.
