Hyderabad: For the first time in the history of the Hyderabad City Police, a woman police officer has been posted as the Station House Officer (SHO).

On the International Women’s Day, Home Minister Mohd.Mahmood Ali along with City Police Commissioner C.V.Anand handed over charge to Ms.Madhu Latha, as SHO, Lalaguda PS.

The Home Minister, Police Commissioner and other dignitaries also attended the Women’s Day Celebrations at St. Mary’s College auditorium, Secunderabad. All women officers of Hyderabad city Police attended the event.
