Hyderabad: Youngster cheated of Rs 9 lakh in guise of providing loan

The victim received a call from a person posing as an executive of Bajaj Finance and offered him a loan and collected his bank account details and siphoned money from his account

Hyderabad: Unidentified persons posing as loan agents duped a youngster to the tune of Rs 9 lakh.

The youngster from Tadbund was in need of a loan and in search of banks and financial institutions offering loans. He uploaded his contact number on some portals as part of this.


Recently, he received a call from a person posing as an executive of Bajaj Finance and offered him a loan and collected his bank account details and siphoned money from his account.

Based on his complaint, the Hyderabad Cybercrime Police booked a case and took up investigation.
