Hyderabad: Local Team Mysa recorded an important win when they upstaged Kolkata’s Cleantek United at the inaugural National Amateur Golf League 2021 here at the Par 72 Boulder Hills Golf & Country Club on Wednesday.

In Group A, Chennai Hustlers created possibilities of qualifying for semi-finals with a convincing win over Bengaluru’s Mighty Eagles. The NAGL formbook was thrown to the winds with Team Mysa, the only one living up their favorites billing.

Porus Panthers were given a rude shock when T Golf Foundation team handsomely beat them in Group B. As a result, T Golf Foundation & Eham are in for a virtual quarter-final battle on Thursday when they face off each other with three teams within two points of each other.

Thursday’s final round robin match is not for the faint hearted as a lot can still happen over 18 holes of golf.
