Hyderabad’s Sandeep to lead national American Football team

Hyderabad: Hyderabad’s Sandeep Reddy has been appointed as the national American Football team while seven other Telugu players have been selected into the team for the upcoming World Championship which will be held in Jerusalem, Israel from December 6.

The final of the tournament is scheduled for December 8. The teams were divided into six pools with India placed in A along with four-time champions USA, Spain, France and Chile. The other players from Telangana who made it to the Indian  team are S Santosh, K Kethan, B Rohit. From Andhra Pradesh, Avinash, G Shiva Prasad and V Manikanta made the cut.


Sandeep had represented India in over 30 international matches before taking the reins of the team.
