Hydraa chief inspects Bathukamma Kunta, sets Dasara deadline for developmental works

Hydraa Commissioner AV Ranganath inspected Bathukamma Kunta on Wednesday to review ongoing lake development works. He instructed officials to complete pathways, tree plantation, and seating facilities before Dasara, while stressing the need for proper inlets and outlets at the lake.

Hyderabad: AV Ranganath, Commissioner of the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Protection Agency (Hydraa), visited Bathukamma Kunta on Wednesday to review the ongoing developmental works at the lake.

He directed officials to expedite the works and ensure their completion ahead of the Dasara festival. He examined the projects under progress, which include constructing pathways around the lake, planting shade-giving trees, and creating seating arrangements for public use. He also emphasised the need to ensure proper inlets and outlets for the lake.
