Hydraa Commissioner AV Ranganath inspected Bathukamma Kunta on Wednesday to review ongoing lake development works. He instructed officials to complete pathways, tree plantation, and seating facilities before Dasara, while stressing the need for proper inlets and outlets at the lake.
The cases here will be filed against land grabbers, encroachers, public property damages, defacement of public property, and cases related to assets protection and other subjects related to HYDRAA actions
The Commissioner stated on Wednesday that some individuals posing as social activists were blackmailing builders by alleging that their structures were in Full Tank Level or buffer zones of lake areas. They claimed to have close ties with senior officials and threatened to file complaints with HYDRAA.
The HYDRAA has given the college management 15 days to provide an explanation. It has also instructed the management to arrange alternative solutions for running the college, or face potential action. Officials have already inspected the college premises.
