Nalgonda: Former Chairman of Telangana State Legislative Council Gutha Sukender Reddy on Monday was categorical in stating that there was no truth in the news going viral in social media platforms that he was planning to resign from TRS.
“People should not believe such rumours being spread in social media by some persons who are against me. There is no question of leaving TRS and I will continue to work under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao as in the past,” Sukender Reddy told mediapersons here.
Expressing grief at the death of four farmers who were run over by a car in a Minister’s convoy in Uttar Pradesh, he said the Narendra Modi government has been trying to muzzle the voice of farmers who were figthing for a just cause. People will teach BJP a lesson at the appropriate time, he said, adding that the dream of BJP leaders coming to power in Telangana State would never materialise.
Stating that TRS candidate Gellu Srinivas Yadav would win the by-election in Huzurabad Assembly constituency by a huge margin of votes, he said the BJP candidate will bite the dust in the by-election. “The Congress is also trying to create rift among the people for its political gains. The party will slowly disappear from politics in the country. Both Congress and BJP have no scope in Telangana State in the next elections,” he added.
Pointing out that all sections of people were living happily in the State due to the welfare schemes taken up by the Chief Minister, he said Chandrashekhar Rao had ensured that Telangana tops the charts in the country not only in welfare but also development, healthcare and education.
He urged the opposition parties to stop indulging in mudslinging against Chandrashekhar Rao and IT Minister K T Rama Rao. The opposition parties have been leveling baseless allegations against the State government to misguide the people, he added.
