The 11th Convocation of the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education,was held virtually during which 2,287 students of Class 2021 received their degrees. Of these, six students were conferred their PhD degrees and 1198 students were awarded MBA degrees.
In the other streams, 10 LLM, 95 BBA-LLB (Hons), 23 BA-LLB (Hons), 264 B. Tech and 674 BBA degrees were awarded. while Distance mode MMS degrees were awarded to 17 students.
Prof D P Singh, chairman, University Grants Commission, delivered the convocation address at the convocation and Dr Rangarajan, chancellor, presided.
Addressing the students, professor Singh said, “The students who are graduating today would be the main stakeholders of our country after 25 years, when we would be celebrating the centenary (100th year) of India’s Independence.” Professor J Mahender Reddy, vice chancellor presented a report on the progress made by the university during the year 2020-21.
