IIMC Hyderabad gets ISO certification for three-year term
For the certification, the college underwent a comprehensive audit process
Hyderabad: The Indian Institute of Management and Commerce (IIMC) College in Hyderabad has achieved ISO 21001:2018 Education Certification from BSCIC Certification Pvt. Ltd. for a three-year term starting from 2024-25 academic year, a press release on Monday said.
For ISO certification, the college underwent a comprehensive audit process involving thorough review of administrative records, student admissions, faculty recruitment processes, laboratory management, examination procedures and faculty development programs, grievance redressal mechanisms and many other activities.
The College Chairman, Vangapalli Vishwanatham, Secretary, Challa Prasanna, Principal, Kura Raghuveer, management committee members, faculty, and staff expressed happiness over the recognition.
Established in 1973, IIMC has grown from an initial 100 students to a current enrollment of 1,700. The institution is now offering multiple courses including B.Com (Honors), B.Com (Computer Applications), B.Com (Business Analytics), B.Sc. (Data Science), and B.B.A. In 2023, the college received an ‘A ‘ grade from the NAAC.
