The Indian Navy too has many such submarines and naval ships which are used to guard us against our coastal enemy threats. INS Kavaratti is the latest and the most sophisticated ship to be inducted into the Indian Navy.
INS Kavaratti was commissioned on October 22, 2020, in Vishakapatnam. It is an anti-submarine warfare ship. INS Kavaratti is a ship built by Indian engineers in India. With these India becomes one of the few countries with the capabilities to manufacture warships. It is an anti-submarine warfare ship. It has the ability to detect and destroy enemy submarines under the deep sea. It is also equipped with the latest armoury for open sea combat.
India has a very long coastline and is prone to enemy attacks through the sea. Thanks to the Indian Navy, we are safe from enemy attacks that arise from the sea. The Indian Navy also protects the merchant ships from possible attack from sea pirates and last but not least it plays a major part in rescuing people in any water-based calamities. Truly, the Indian Navy is the pride of the country.
