Indian student shot at in Chicago after argument with pedestrian
An Indian student was seriously injured after being shot in the abdomen during an altercation in Chicago's West Rogers Park on Wednesday night. The incident occurred following an altercation at West Devon Avenue.

Hyderabad: An Indian student was shot at, allegedly after an argument, in West Rogers Park on Wednesday night, according to the Chicago police.
The shooting took place at about 8:40 p.m. in the 2300-block of West Devon Avenue, according to media reports that quoted police as saying that a man was inside a car when he got into a fight with a pedestrian.
The man got out of the car, after which the pedestrian pulled out a gun and shot him in the abdomen, police said.
The victim, who is yet to be identified officially, was shifted to St. Francis Hospital in serious condition, police said.
The suspect fled the scene and has not been taken into custody. Further investigation is on.
