Hyderabad: Over 1,000 families, which purchased flats and villas in Indu Projects at Kukatpally (555 units) and Bandlaguda (524 units) appealed to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to intervene and resolve the delay in registering their homes.
Delegates representing all Indu Project communities met at Indu Aranya Haritha on Sunday. The homeowners expressed concern that despite investing their lifetime savings in the project’s joint ventures between the Telangana Housing Board (then APHB) and Indu Projects, they are still being denied legal ownership of the purchased properties.
The projects, launched in 2006, were stalled for years and partially completed in 2016. After Indu Projects bankruptcy proceedings and the new management refusing liability, both the developer and the Housing Board failed to act, the property owners complained in a press release.
