Warangal: Kazipet police in association with Central Crime Station (CCS) police have arrested three members of an inter-state gang of house burglars under Kazipet PS limits on Saturday. They have recovered stolen property including 1.4 kg of gold ornaments, three motorcycles, six mobile phones and Rs 9,000 cash. The total worth of seized property is Rs 21,68,200.
The arrested have been identified as Naru Pachavar, Bhuru Singaar and Udan Singh of Tanda police station limits of Kukshi Taluq in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, said CP Dr Tarun Joshi at a press conference here on Saturday. The police have arrested them in connection with a case of housebreaking committed by them on the intervening night of September 27 and 27 this year in flat No.102, 202 & 203, of the A Block in the PGR lake view towers, Kazipet. It is said that the Sumar Singh and six others are at large. All of them are from Madhya Pradesh and are habitual offenders. There were a total of 11 cases registered against them under Warangal police commissionerate and in Hyderabad city. Central Zone DCP K Pushpa Reddy, ACP (crimes) Babu Rao, Kazipet ACP Srinivas, Kazipet Inspector Mahender Reddy, CCS Inspectors L Ramesh Kumar, Srinivas Rao and others were present.
