Inter student dies by suicide in Kothagudem
An intermediate first-year student, Mekapothula Jahnavi, allegedly died by suicide at her residence in Narsapuram village of Mulakalapalli mandal in Kothagudem district. Police registered a case and began investigation after a complaint was filed by her father
Kothagudem: An intermediate student allegedly died by suicide at Narsapuram village of Mulakalapalli mandal in the district on Thursday.
The deceased, Mekapothula Jahnavi, was studying first year at the local Government Junior College. She hanged herself when her family members were not at home and died by the time they noticed her act. The reasons for her extreme step are not known yet.
Following a complaint by her father Ravi, the local police visited the spot, registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
