Intermediate toppers prefer Nizam College in DOST 2026 first phase
Intermediate toppers in Telangana have largely opted for government institutions, with Nizam College emerging as the most preferred destination in the DOST 2026 first‑phase allotment.
Hyderabad: University and government colleges have emerged as the first choice for the intermediate toppers for their undergraduate education in the State.
According to DOST 2026 first phase seat allotment details, the majority of the intermediate toppers have chosen to join Nizam College. For instance, Pabba Srujana who secured 99.50 percent and DOST first ranker, opted for the physical science faculty in Nizam College.
Similarly, DOST second ranker Bodapothula Kiran Goud and Bandi Shashikumar chose to join commerce and management, and physical science faculties respectively at Nizam College. Shaik Sameera, who secured the fourth rank, obtained a seat in the physical science faculty at Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women’s University.
