Hyderabad: Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL) is making elaborate arrangements to ensure continuous power supply during unveiling of the Statue of Equality of Sri Ramanujacharya at Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy Ashram in Muchintal in February.

Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy visited the ashram on Friday and reviewed the arrangements being for made for the celebrations marking the 1000th birth anniversary of the religious philosopher Sri Ramanujacharya from February 2 to 14, with Chinna Jeeyar Swamy.

Since the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Ministers and Governors and senior officials from various States will attend the event, the TSSPDCL was leaving no stone unturned in supplying power continuously, Jagadish Reddy said.

He inspected the arrangements at yagnashala and dining area. The Minister said a separate team from TSSPDCL would be deployed to regularly monitor power supply for the event and added that a 33/11 KV sub-station along with 28 transformers were already established at the ashram. TSSPDCL CMD G Raghuma Reddy and other senior officials were also present during the inspection.
