Jagtial: A native of Malyala mandal headquarters in the district, Medisetti Jitender, who was staying in Afghanistan, had safely reached the UK after the Taliban’s capture of Kabul and other areas.

Jitender went to Afghanistan for employment where he has been working in a UK-based company. He was staying at a military base camp.

The UK-based company, wherein Jitender is working, took all its employees to UK after the violence broke in Afghanistan following the capture of its capital Kabul and other areas by the Taliban.

Jitender along with 40 other employees flew to Dubai in an American-made military airplane Royal Air force plane. Then they went to the UK.

Jitender’s family members, who were worried about the safety of their dear one after the Afghanistan episode, breathed easy when the former contacted them over phone and informed them that he had safely landed in the UK.

Asking them not to worry about his safety, Jitender informed them that he will come to Malyala within next 10 days. His wife, two sons and other family members are eagerly waiting for his arrival.

Jitender, who went to Afghanistan to work for a period of one year, recently came to his native place and went back after spending one month with family members.
