Jagitial: In the wake of heavy competition for every government job, students preparing for government jobs are undergoing coaching in private coaching centres by spending huge amounts. In order to extend support to the poor students who cannot afford coaching, the district police officials have decided to give free coaching to the poor and eligible youth preparing for Sub-Inspector and police constable jobs.

In this regard, the police conducted a screening test for the police job aspirants at SKNR Degree College here on Sunday. Out of 1,682 candidates applied for free coaching, 1,000 aspirants including 262 women appeared for the screening test. Qualified candidates would be given coaching in indoor and outdoor training by deploying expert trainers in Jagitial and Metpalli towns.

Inaugurating the screening test, Additional SP Rupesh opined that it was possible to get government jobs if the youth were prepared for jobs with commitment and dedication. Stating that poverty should not be a hurdle for education and cracking a job, he said a number of people have achieved higher positions by overcoming poverty.

Besides the police department, various other departments in the State government are going to fill vacant posts, he informed and advised educated youth to get jobs by preparing with dedication and without wasting time. Nothing is impossible if the youth strive hard with commitment, he opined.

He cautioned the students not to get duped by giving money to middlemen if anybody promised them a government job. They should approach the police if any such people approach them, he advised.
