Jagtial: Youngster’s body recovered from SRSP canal after 13 days

Jagtial: The body of Katipalli Srikar Reddy (29), who went missing in the SRSP canal, was recovered after 13 days at Thatipalli in Jagtial rural mandal on Monday.
Srikar Reddy went missing on August 27 when a tractor carrying a Ganesh idol accidentally plunged into the canal near Peddapur in Metpalli mandal.
Despite continuous search operations with professional swimmers, his body could not be traced. On Monday, it was found near Thatipalli.
Srikar Reddy was the son of former ZPTC member Katipalli Radha. He is survived by his wife Rani and two sons.
