Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar inaugurated a Job Mela organised by the Hyderabad City Police at Nampally here on Saturday.
“These days, job connectivity brings the job closer to you. This job fair is being organised in collaboration with the TMI Group and other companies. A long journey starts with one first step. This first job will give you a little experience,” Anjani Kumar said, thanking the companies for coming forward to offer jobs, as several youth had lost their jobs due to the pandemic.
Officials said so far, 24 reputed companies had come forward to offer nearly 4,000 jobs. In all, nearly 800 job aspirants attended the mela and got registered, out of whom over 250 were directly selected and given jobs. The Job Mela is being organised every month by the Hyderabad Police in collaboration with several companies. P Viswa Prasad, Joint Commissioner of Police, Central Zone and other officials were present.
