Jobless software engineer ends life in Nalgonda after struggling to find work
Akhil Rupani, a 24-year-old software engineer from Nalgonda, died by suicide after reportedly struggling with job rejections and unemployment. He jumped in front of a train near Chityala railway station. Police have registered a case based on a complaint.
Nalgonda: A jobless software engineer, Akhil Rupani, 24 ended his life by suicide on Friday.
He committed suicide by jumping in front of a train in Chityal mandal of Nalgonda district, reportedly due to despair over unemployment.
Akhil threw himself under the Narayanadri Express train bound for Lingampally near Chityala railway station. A resident of Nerada village, he completed his B.Tech and worked briefly with a software company in Hyderabad.
However, dissatisfied with the low salary, he returned to his village a year ago. Despite all his efforts to secure a better job, Akhil faced repeated rejections, which reportedly led to severe disappointment and mental distress. The local police, acting on a complaint filed by Akhil’s father, Krishna, have registered a case and launched an investigation.
