Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election: 211 candidates file 321 nominations ahead of scrutiny
For the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election, 211 candidates filed 321 nominations between October 13 and 21, with 117 candidates submitting 194 on the final day. Election officials will scrutinise nominations on October 22, while withdrawals close on October 24.

Hyderabad: For the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency by-election, a significant number of nominations have been filed by the candidates.
On the final day, 21 October, a total of 117 candidates filed 194 nominations.
The GHMC election duty officials issued tokens on Tuesday after candidates queued at the Returning Office, Shaikpet. Considering the cut-off time for the submission of nominations, which was 3 pm, the process of accepting nominations continued until late hours.
On October 13, the filing of the nominations started and concluded on October 21. “Altogether, 211 candidates have filed 321 nominations for the by-election between October 13 and 21,” according to an official release.
“We received a large number of nominations from the candidates for the Jubilee Hills assembly by-election,” said the release.
The election officials are set to scrutinise the nominations on Wednesday at the Returning Officer’s office.
The last date for the withdrawal of nominations is October 24.
