Jubilee Hills bypoll records 48.47 percent voter turnout
Hyderabad witnessed a steady increase in voter turnout throughout polling day, culminating in a final figure of 48.47 percent by 6 pm. District Election Officer RV Karnan shared the progressive turnout data, noting consistent growth from morning to evening.

Hyderabad: District Election Officer RV Karnan announced that after the completion of polling (up to 6 pm), a voter turnout of approximately 48.47 percent was recorded. This is after the turnout at 5 pm was 47.16 percent.
The voter turnout pattern throughout the day showed a steady rise. As of 9 am, the voting percentage was 9.2%. By 11 am, it increased to 20.76%. By 1 pm, the voting percentage reached 31.94%. By 3 pm, the voting percentage was 40.20%. By 5 pm, it was 47.16%. The exact final figure will be updated soon, officials said.
Meanwhile, the EVMs were shifted from all 407 polling stations to the Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy Stadium in Yousufguda amid police security ahead of the counting scheduled for November 14.
TPCC Chief confident after bypoll
Asserting that the Jubilee Hills bypoll passed off peacefully on Tuesday, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud exuded confidence that people had extended their support to Congress candidate V Naveen Yadav.
All the leaders were successful in taking the Congress government’s welfare and development programmes to the people. Impressed with the Congress governance, people extended their support to the party candidate, he claimed in a video message.
