Hyderabad: Exit polls projected a close contest in the Jubilee Hills by-election which concluded on Tuesday, with the BRS holding a lead over the ruling Congress. The election results will be announced on November 14.

According to three major agencies i.e. Mission Chanakya, National Family Opinion, and Q Mega, the BRS appears poised to edge ahead. All three surveys suggested that the BRS has managed to retain its urban vote base, while the Congress appeared to have consolidated some sections of new voters. The BJP remained a distant third.
