Sangareddy: A junior lecturer and his wife, who is working as a Tahsildar, have pledged to donate their bodies after death to the Government Medical College in Sangareddy, drawing appreciation from various sections of society.
Physics lecturer at the Government Junior College, Jinnaram, Krishna Kumar, and his wife Asha Jyothi, the current Tahsildar of Raikode mandal, have decided to donate their bodies to the medical college to support medical education.
Their decision has sparked discussion among educated circles in the district, as very few people come forward for body donation. The couple’s initiative is expected to inspire others to take up similar pledges in the coming days.
The gesture earned praise from all sections of society, while their family members have also extended support to the decision.
Krishna Kumar, known for his involvement in various social activities in the district, is also the president of the State Government Junior Colleges Principals’ Association.
