Karimnagar: District Collector K Shashanka on Tuesday said unemployed youth in the district will get employment opportunities after completion of training in Central Institute of Tool Design Training Center.
The Collector was speaking after inspecting the ongoing works of the Central Institute of Tool Design Training Center building near Lower Manair Dam here.
Shashanka instructed officials to speed up the works and complete the building works by March ending. Classrooms, workshop, administrative block and others have been constructed. Besides sanctioning the training center to the district, the Union Government has sanctioned Rs 20 crore. Meanwhile, the State government has earmarked Rs 1 crore besides allocating one and half acre land at old Satavahana University premises.
Skill developing training would be given to unemployed youth in the institute. The youth, who would complete training in the institute, would get employment in minor, small and medium industries.
Youth could also establish their own industries after completion of training, he added.
