Karimnagar: Karimnagar Mayor Y Sunil Rao on Tuesday felicitated a boxer Mohammed Rafed Ali, who won gold medal in national level boxing competitions held in Vijayawada of Andhra Pradesh recently. The Mayor felicitated the boxer at his camp office in Bhagathnagar, Karimnagar.

World Student Sports Development Federation of India organized national level boxing competitions in Thummapudi of Vijayawada. A native of Karimnagar town, Rafed Ali participated in under 17 and 110 kg category and won gold medal by securing first place. The Mayor appreciated the boxer and wished him to get more medals in the future. He advised him to take the reputation of Telangana as well as Karimnagar to International level by winning medals in international level competitions.
