Karimnagar police arrest six thieves, seize Rs. 20 lakh worth property
Karimnagar Commissionerate police arrested six men involved in a series of thefts across rural areas, recovering property worth Rs 20 lakh. The gang was caught during a vehicle check at Gumpula crossroads in Choppadandi. They confessed to 15 offences, including stealing agricultural pump sets, copper wire and livestock.

Karimnagar: Karimnagar Commissionerate police arrested six thieves and recovered property worth Rs 20 lakh from them.
Producing the accused before the media on Saturday, Commissioner of Police Gaush Alam explained the modus operandi of the offenders.
During a vehicle check at Gumplapur crossroads in Choppadandi town on Saturday, police found six persons travelling in two goods carriage vehicles under suspicious circumstances. On questioning, they confessed to committing 15 offences, including theft of 12 agricultural pump sets, copper wire and three animals in rural parts of Karimnagar.
Manupati Shekhar of Karimnagar, Manupati Sanjeev of Choppadandi, Undadi Mahesh of Begampet in Ramagiri mandal, Bodasu Kumar of Ellanthakunta, Sagarla Ranjit of Penchikalpet in Kamanpur and Bodige Sampath of Choppadandi were arrested.
Police recovered two goods carriage vehicles, a motorcycle and three quintals of copper wire from their possession.
