Karimnagar: Two men killed by sons in separate incidents

Two separate incidents of patricide were reported in Karimnagar district on Friday. In Karimnagar town, a man was hacked to death by his son following a domestic quarrel, while in Illandakunta mandal another man succumbed to injuries after being attacked by his son during a land dispute.

Karimnagar: Two persons were killed by their respective sons in separate incidents in Karimnagar district on Friday. A man Arepalli Narsaiah was hacked to death by his son Mallesh in Mukarampura area in Karimnagar town.

According to police, while an inebriated Mallesh was arguing with his mother, Narsaiah tried to intervene. However, Mallesh attacked him with an axe. Narsaiah died on the spot from severe bleeding injuries.


In another incident, one Sampath was killed by his son Srinivas in Chinnakomatipalli of Illandakunta mandal. There was a land dispute between Srinivas and his younger brother. While both of them were quarreling, the deceased tried to convince them.

Enraged over his father’s intervention, Srinivas attacked Sampath with a pestle. Family members shifted him to a hospital in Hanamkonda where he breathed his last while undergoing treatment.
