Two separate incidents of patricide were reported in Karimnagar district on Friday. In Karimnagar town, a man was hacked to death by his son following a domestic quarrel, while in Illandakunta mandal another man succumbed to injuries after being attacked by his son during a land dispute.

A rally was held under the aegis of TRS Illandakunta mandal in-charge and Choppadandi MLA Sunke Ravishankar.

Other communities opposed the installation, but later they decided to settle the issue through discussion.
