Yadadri-Bhongir: Karivena Annadaana Satram sponsored by the All India Brahmin Karivena Federation was inaugurated by MLC Surabhi Vani at the temple town of Yadadri on Sunday.
The federation general secretary Dr N Venugopal said that anna prasadam would be provided to the devotees at Yadadri. The All India Karivena Brahmin Nithyananda Satram would be set up in Ayodhya, Tirumala and Haridwar next year. The federation has a history of over 100 years that started in a small village called Karivena in Andhra Pradesh. Annadana Satra, which would be run under the supervision of the federation, would offer food to the people of the community as well as others. The federation also runs an old age home in Vijayawada and a Vedic school at Shankara Mandir in Kurnool.
He said the federation recently launched a state-of-the-art accommodation facility in Varanasi. It would also start its community services at Tirumala, Haridwar and Ayodhya soo, he said.
Former BJP MLC N Ramachandra Rao also attended the programme.
