KCR pays tributes to Dasarathi Krishnamacharya on his death anniversary
The BRS president recalled the profound impact of Dasarathi's work especially his slogan of "Naa Telangana... Koti ratanala veena", on the Telangana statehood movement and its cultural identity
Hyderabad: BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao remembered Telangana icon and poet Dasarathi Krishnamacharya on his death anniverasary on Tuesday.
He recalled the profound impact of Dasarathi’s work especially his slogan of “Naa Telangana… Koti ratanala veena”, on the Telangana statehood movement and its cultural identity.
He said Dasarathi’s contribution to the statehood movement is invaluable and stated that the previous BRS government initiated numerous programmes to commemorate him, to carry forward his legacy to the future generations.
