Hyderabad: Police officials deployed for the Ganesh idol immersion festivities in the city on Friday, briefly joined devotees in the celebrations as the Khairatabad Bada Ganesh idol was taken towards Hussain Sagar for its final immersion.

Senior IPS officer and Khairatabad DCP K Shilpavalli joined devotees and young girls in dancing to the tunes during the immersion procession at NTR Marg.
