Khammam: A modern liquid oxygen generation plant has been set up at the District Government Hospital here to meet the demand of requirements of medical emergencies at the hospital.
Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar on Wednesday inaugurated the plant installed with an expenditure of Rs 90 lakh. He said that steps were being taken to equip the District Hospital with modern infrastructure to ensure quality health services to the patients.
He reminded that as part of the State government’s initiative to equip the government hospitals with state-of-art facilities, a liquid oxygen plant with 13,000 litres capacity was installed here with an expenditure of Rs 50 lakh in last September.
