Khammam man allegedly kills wife, abandons body in car; police launch search
A man allegedly killed his wife and abandoned her body in a car near a private school in Khammam on Thursday. Police launched a search for the accused, who is at large. Relatives alleged he suspected her of having an affair.
Khammam: A man has allegedly killed his wife and left the body in a car under Khanapuram Haveli police station limits in the district on Thursday.
According to police an altercation had occurred between the deceased, Chinnaboina Renuka and her husband, Medipalli Vidyasagar while they were travelling in the car. The deceased woman’s relatives alleged that her husband murdered her out of suspicion that she had an extra-marital affair.
Vidyasagar fled the scene after abandoning the body in the car near a private school in the city. The police have registered a case and are searching for Vidyasagar, who is currently at large.
It was the second marriage for the accused, Vidyasagar, who had married the deceased, Renuka, four months ago. After killing his wife, he reportedly called his relatives in Yellandu and told them he was going to end his life.
