Khammam, Warangal police excel in Telangana Police Sports and Games Meet

Police personnel from Khammam and Warangal districts performed well at the Telangana Police Sports and Games Meet-2026. Khammam constable Pilli Raju won three medals, while Warangal athletes secured 33 medals. Senior officials praised the winners

Khammam/Warangal: Police personnel from Khammam and Warangal districts have been excelling in the ongoing Telangana Police Sports and Games Meet-2026.

A 42-year-old armed reserve constable from Khammam Police Commissionerate, Pilli Raju, won three medals: a silver medal in Wushu and bronze medals in wrestling and judo. Serving the department for the past 18 years, he said that hard work, discipline and continuous dedication to sports brought him success. He thanked senior officers for their constant support and encouragement.
