Hyderabad: V Anshu, who visited the Nehru Zoological Park along with his parents and grandmother, adopted five Budgerigars birds on Friday.

The young resident of Gachibowli presented a cheque of Rs 20,000 to the zoo curator S Rajashekar, towards the maintenance of the birds for a period of one year.

Speaking on the occasion, V Rahul, Anshu’s father, praised the staff for the upkeep of the zoo park. Curator of the zoo, Rajashekar, thanked the young child for showing a great gesture towards wildlife conservation.
