Kids take part in Matho-e-Magician with zeal
The final round of Inter School Math Quiz Matho-E- Magician was held on December 23. The event began with virtual lamp lighting and a welcome dance by Grade VI student Lasya.

Akshara Vaagdevi International School in collaboration with Pallavi Model School and in partnering with NIIT nGuru organised Virtual Inter School Math Quiz Matho-E- Magician for grades I to VIII on the occasion of National Math Day. In addition to the sister concern Schools of PMS, many vicinity schools participated in the competition. The first round was conducted virtually by NIIT nGuru on December 20-21. Students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The final round of Inter School Math Quiz Matho-E- Magician was held on December 23. The event began with virtual lamp lighting and a welcome dance by Grade VI student Lasya. The chief guest Shobha Dasika and guest of honour PV Satya Ramesh were welcomed by CCA coordinator Sailaja.
Principal Vanaja addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of the event. She congratulated every participant and wished good luck for the final round. The week-long Math activities taken up for grade I to VIII to commemorate the birth anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujan were shared by primary coordinator Sukeshini, chief guest of the day.
Shobha Dasika in her speech shared the importance of education and inspired the students that Learning should never stop. Director of Pallavi Model School Sushil appreciated the students for their work and motivated them to continue doing so.
The much-awaited moment of the event, the final round of Matho-E-Magician, was taken up under the leadership of senior coordinator Rachana, well supported by NIIT team, technical team and staff members.
Students from Grade I-VIII were segregated according to their grades.
Guest of honour PV Satya Ramesh addressed the participants. He advised the students not to fear maths as it is part and parcel of life, and develop passion towards the subject to excel. The winners were declared by Shobha Dasika and PV Satya Ramesh. E- certificates were presented to the winners.
The event was a great success as teachers facilitated student to explore new ways to make Math a fun-loving subject. Kudos to students who showed the same zeal and enthusiasm for the competition while at physical schooling or virtually.
