Kohir records lowest temperature in Telangana at 7.8 degree Celsius; Medak district sees sharp cold drop
Kohir mandal in Sangareddy recorded Telangana’s lowest temperature at 7.8°C, with average temperatures 5.1°C lower than last year. Shivvampet and Pothareddipet also saw sharp drops. Residents have been staying indoors to cope with the severe cold.

Sangareddy: Kohir mandal headquarters has recorded the lowest temperature with 7.8 degree Celsius, the lowest in the State, on Thursday night. The average temperature in the mandal was 11.1 degree Celsius which departed by 5.1 degree Celsius compared to last year’s 16.2 degree Celsius.
Meanwhile, Shivvampet in Medak district recorded 9 degree Celsius lowest temperature while Pothareddipet in Siddipet district recorded 9.7 degree Celsius lowest temperature. The temperatures have declined quite drastically across the erstwhile Medak district during the past one week. The citizens have been staying indoors until the sun sets out.
